Seasonal Wrangler Position Red Horse Mountain Ranch operates on over 300,000 acres of the Idaho Panhandle National Forest with a guest season beginning in May and ending in November and is an Adventure Vacation Destination in Harrison, Idaho. Wranglers are responsible for maintaining the health and condition of the horses and other livestock and for maintaining the safe, functional and clean condition of the barn facilities. Wranglers lead trail rides and provide instruction for riders of all riding abilities and ages. In addition, Wrangler staff will also be guiding other ranch activities to include sporting clays, mountain bike tours, challenge course & high ropes courses, fishing, hikes, and other guest activities. The ranch has nearly 100 horses to care for and horseback rides are continually leaving for scenic vistas, mountain trails, the valley floor, and full day rides. You'll have the opportunity during your summer to operate ranch equipment, vet and care for the herd, lead rides, help out with general ranch work, maintain facilities and grounds, and take part in other guided activities at the ranch. Job Description
Wranglers, responsible for the care and maintenance of 55+ horses. Duties include feeding, mucking out stalls, doctoring injured horses, grooming, saddling, leading trail rides, and entertaining the guests in the evenings (i.e. hosting or participating in the evening activity, such as volleyball, karaoke, or line dancing). Working with some of the problem horses or working on some of the bad habits they may have picked up from having a different rider every week. Wranglers should be able to handle guests of all different riding experiences, from kids to adults, beginners to advanced. At Clear Creek Ranch, socializing with the guests is required and is a great opportunity to meet people from all around the world.

Job Requirements
Must be comfortable handling horses and know how to saddle and bridle. Experience working with beginner horseback riders as well as young horses, is always beneficial.
