Job Description
Kid's Wranglers are responsible for livestock as assigned, with emphasis on providing safe and enjoyable horseback riding for ranch guests, especially children. Works primarily with ranch horses and mules and related tack and equipment. Kid's wranglers primary focus is working with children 6-12 years old. Leads trail rides for guests, as assigned. Tacks and untacks animals used on guest rides. Provide riding lessons to children. Wrangles horses & mules into the ranch corrals in the morning and back out to pasture in the afternoons. Feeds, shoes, and doctors horses and other livestock as required and as skills permit. Maintains tack and other livestock-related equipment. Helps with training of horses and mules. Other ranch tasks can include fixing fence, guiding overnight trips, and moving the ranch cow herd to various grazing pastures. Kid's wrangler also take childrens hikes, teach & supervise archery. Wranglers may be asked to assist in other areas of operations at the ranch as needed. All staff members are required to participate in some evening activities like cookouts, games, campfires, etc. Wranglers have a western dress code which includes jeans, western collared shirts, cowboy hats and boots.

Job Requirements
Dude ranch experience is not required but helpful. Horse experience is required as well as excellent people skills. We look for employees with a great attitude, good work ethic and appreciation of the western lifestyle. Minimum Age: 18 years old Education: High school graduate. Other: Valid driver's license, Current First Aid and CPR certified.

Monthly salary, tip pool, room & board
